The new drama series Dive to You premiered on October 26, opening its first episode with a violent attack that claims the life of a character. The series is available for streaming on Disney+ and broadcast on ChannelA at 10:30 p.m. local time, according to an announcement from TenAsia reporter Park Eui-jin.

The opening episode centers on Yoon Ha-na, portrayed by Kim Ji-yeon, and her bodyguard Jung Woo-jae, played by Park Seo-ham. The two characters share a history as high school classmates and mutual first loves. Years later, Yoon works as an actor while Jung serves as her bodyguard. Despite their long-standing bond, neither has confessed their feelings to the other.
Awards Ceremony Attack Changes the Plot
The narrative shifts during an awards ceremony attended by Yoon. After winning the Best Actress award, Yoon continues her evening until an unidentified assailant breaches the venue. Jung attempts to protect Yoon from the intruder and is stabbed in the process, ultimately dying from his injuries.
Production stills released ahead of the premiere show Jung guarding Yoon’s dressing room door despite his stab wounds. Subsequent scenes depict Yoon discovering the site and holding an unconscious Jung while crying. TenAsia reported that Jung’s death serves as a turning point that shapes Yoon’s choices and future trajectory throughout the series.
