Agencia LVAT shared the news of the actor’s death on Instagram, stating, “No there are answers, although I know we all look for them,” while honoring his career and professional commitment. Elevate, another agency that represented the actor, also published a statement written by a representative named Luciano, who recalled Hurtado as a vibrant presence within the industry.
Colleagues across the Mexican entertainment industry shared public reactions following the announcement. Actress Mónica Guevara expressed shock on social media, noting that she had recently encountered Hurtado during a casting callback and commercial project.

Hurtado built a diverse career spanning stage, screen, and modeling. His television credits include roles in Televisa productions such as the telenovela Vencer la culpa and the ViX thriller series Pacto de Sangre, where he portrayed the character Carlos. His film and streaming credits featured roles in the movie Sobriedad, me estás matando as Gonzalo, the short film Venganza Póstuma, and a supporting appearance in Netflix’s upcoming series Man on Fire.
Outside of screen acting, Hurtado maintained an active presence in Mexico City’s theatrical and artistic communities. He studied theater and psychology at the Universidad Veracruzana and ran an independent ink illustration project titled Líneas en el VACÍO.
