XPENG X9 Luxury Features and Zero Gravity Seating

The XPENG X9 is engineered around its second-row seating, which features two specialized chairs equipped with a “Zero Gravity” relaxation mode. XPENG claims the specific shape and extended angle of these seats distribute body pressure to simulate a weightless environment, as reported by TV3.lv. However, the design creates a functional trade-off: when the Zero Gravity mode is active, passengers cannot access the driver’s seat or the third row.

To improve utility, the X9 includes a rear end that can be lowered to facilitate easier loading of the cargo area. Inside the cabin, the driver’s area features a large screen, a wide center console, and a deep storage compartment, though the steering wheel is manually adjusted, according to TV3.lv.

X9 Performance Specifications and Maneuverability

The X9 utilizes rear-wheel steering to manage its large footprint, and the vehicle integrates a rear-view camera feed directly into the head-up display. Power options vary by trim level:

XPENG is introducing the L03 as part of its new “MONA” generation of electric vehicles to capture a lower price point.
