Xal’atath Gameplay Mechanics and Abilities
Xal’atath functions as a ranged assassin utilizing Void-based powers to eliminate targets. According to Blizzard Entertainment, the hero’s primary combat loop involves using basic attacks to collect “Soul Essence,” which then allows the character to fire “Void Arrows.”
The hero’s kit centers on a combination of “Black Heart” and “Shadow Mark” to deal explosive damage to enemy heroes. Xal’atath can also teleport in a triangular pattern to increase her attack power. Players can choose between two ultimate abilities: triggering a wide-area “Void Explosion” or summoning “Void Minions” to assist in combat.

Blizzard is hosting a Twitch Drops event to celebrate the launch, running from September 29 at 1:00 AM to October 6 at 3:59 PM (KST). Rewards are tiered based on the amount of time spent watching Heroes of the Storm streams:
