Walton Plaza and MUN Alert Partner to Help Find Missing Persons

Walton Plaza, the country’s largest electronics sales and service network, launched a missing-person broadcast initiative on September 28, 2026, using TV screens across more than 700 outlets to display verified missing persons data.

The company signed a memorandum of understanding with missing-person alert platform MUN Alert at the Walton Corporate Office in the capital. Mohammad Rayhan, managing director of Walton Plaza, and Sadat Rahman, president of the Zero Missing Foundation—the founding organization of MUN Alert—signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Nationwide Broadcast Network Deployment

Under the agreement, photos and essential information of verified missing individuals will appear regularly on television screens installed in over 700 Walton Plaza outlets throughout the country. Mohammad Rayhan stated that the initiative extends the company’s focus beyond retail sales into public welfare. “Walton Plaza has not confined its activities to product sales and services but also participated in various social and humanitarian initiatives for public welfare,” Rayhan said. Citizens can visit local outlets to view current alerts, report a missing person, or follow up on existing cases using MUN Alert’s helpline at 13219 and its official web portal.

Retail Footprint for Social Outreach

Zoheb Ahmed, chief marketing officer of Walton, noted that high daily customer traffic across the nationwide retail chain provides an effective platform for public safety announcements. “Using this extensive network and the TV screens at our official outlets to disseminate information about missing persons is part of our social responsibility,” Ahmed said. Sadat Rahman of MUN Alert emphasized the importance of widespread distribution in search operations, stating that expanding the reach of verified details increases the likelihood of locating missing individuals.
