Final Round Conditions and Team Standings
Scoring proved challenging for the entire field during the final 18 holes at Fort Worth. Not a single team finished under par in round three, forcing programs to rely on resilience to protect their positions on the leaderboard. Texas Tech and North Carolina shared third place at 12-over 852, while Texas and Vanderbilt tied for fifth at 14-over 854.
Oklahoma State placed seventh at 18-over 858. UCLA and Georgia shared eighth at 22-over 862, followed by Oklahoma in 10th at 24-over 864 and TCU in 11th at 25-over 865. Georgia Tech finished 12th at 26-over 866, and Pepperdine took 13th at 28-over 868. Stanford and Virginia concluded the tournament tied for 14th place at 43-over 883, while Arizona State rounded out the field in 16th at 48-over 888.
Adam Bresnu of Texas Tech claimed medalist honors on the individual leaderboard, finishing as one of only seven players in the 80-person field to break par for the tournament. Bresnu posted a 7-under 206 with rounds of 69, 67, and 67.
Virginia Cavalier Performances
Josh Duangmanee paced the Virginia Cavaliers on the final day with a 3-over 73, finishing tied for 38th individually. Duangmanee climbed six spots on the leaderboard from round two to round three, anchoring his performance by recording 40 pars across 54 holes, which tied for the fourth-most in the entire tournament field. As a team, the Cavaliers managed three birdies on Tuesday, two of which came from Duangmanee.
Jager Pain competed in just his second collegiate tournament and finished as Virginia’s second-best player. Pain shot an 11-over 221 with rounds of 71, 74, and 76, placing three strokes behind Duangmanee.
