University of Utah football fans will experience a brand-new, courtside-style seating arrangement at Rice-Eccles Stadium beginning October 24 against Houston, according to an announcement from the university.
ALKEME Field Boxes Debut in North End Zone
The newly constructed viewing area, named the ALKEME Field Boxes, sits along the north end zone wall of Rice-Eccles Stadium. The setup features 42 total seats divided into four-seat boxes, alongside a single six-seat box. Each open-air space includes leather chairs, all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic drinks, private parking in the west lot, and an individual television screen displaying live game feeds, replays, and statistics. Joel Adams, chief ticketing officer for Crimson Brand Partners, noted that the end zone location allows attendees to watch plays approaching them while keeping the south-end scoreboard in view.
Ticketing Priority and Upcoming Games
Fans eager to secure the new on-field spots can join a waitlist by placing a $500 deposit or by filling out an inquiry form on the university’s sales platform. Members of the Champions Alliance and Scholarship Circle received initial purchasing priority for a limited number of boxes designated for the November 7 game against BYU and the November 27 matchup against West Virginia. Access to the boxes runs through a private entryway via the northwest tunnel of the stadium.

Corporate Partnership Expansion
The field-level seating project is sponsored by ALKEME Insurance, marking another step in the company’s collaboration with Utah athletics. The firm previously secured a separate agreement to become the helmet equipment sponsor, placing its name on the rear bumper of every Utah football helmet. ALKEME CEO Curtis Barton stated that the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its presence across the state by aligning with the university athletic program.
