The singer, 62, stated that the two siblings are each pursuing their own separate paths, noting that Ashley, 58, has not yet heard her upcoming studio album, “The Hard Truth.”

The rift between the sisters comes four years after the death of their mother, Naomi Judd, who died by suicide at age 76 in 2022. The project also addresses references to Wynonna’s estranged daughter, Grace Kelley, who is currently serving a 15-month sentence in Virginia. Wynonna, who is raising Kelley’s 4-year-old daughter, Kaliyah, on her Tennessee farm alongside her husband, Cactus Moser, stated that she misses her daughter desperately and hopes she finds healing. Wynonna added that she learned via news headlines that Kelley was pregnant in jail and currently knows very little about the situation.
