Directed by Hiroyuki Okiura, The Tale of Princess Kaguya (released locally as Momo and the House of Mysterious Spirits) is a 120-minute animated feature produced by Production I.G with animation direction by Masashi Ando. Rated all-ages, the story follows an 11-year-old girl named Momo who moves to a remote island village with her mother following her father’s death. In her new home, Momo discovers a dusty attic and encounters three peculiar, mischievous yokai—Iwa, Kawa, and Mame—who have slipped out of an old picture book.
