A$AP Rocky Jokes About Expanding Family with Rihanna, Aiming to Rival Nick Cannon’s 12 Children
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna may be adding to their growing family, with the rapper jokingly suggesting they could eventually match Nick Cannon’s impressive number of children. The couple currently share three children: Rocki, RZA, and Riot Mayers.
During an appearance on “The Joe Budden Podcast” on Thursday, January 22, Rocky responded to a question about having more kids, stating, “Listen, man, whatever God [gives] me.” He continued, “It’s a blessing. I ain’t gon’ hold you, though, we got our hands full right now. We got [a] whole football team right now. I’m about to catch up to Nick Cannon, you s**ttin’ me?”
The couple welcomed their third child, RZA Irish Mayers, in September 2023.
Playful Hints at a Larger Family
Rocky has previously alluded to the possibility of expanding their family. At the global premiere of 2025’s Smurfs, he joked that they were “gon’ be like the Wayans family,” referencing the large and close-knit Wayans family. He added, “I mean, love is beautiful, and it’s just spreading it.”
At the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, Rocky further teased the idea of a fourth child while celebrating his Style Icon Award. He too spoke with Entertainment Tonight about being a father of three, expressing his joy at having a daughter, Rocki, calling her “my baby twin.” He acknowledged that his older sons, RZA and Riot, might “get a little jealous,” but emphasized that there’s “plenty of love to move around.”
Rocky’s Recent Album Release and Tour
Rocky recently released his fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, on January 16. He is scheduled to embark on a tour in May to promote the album.
