Kuwait – February 8 (KUNA) — The Bahraini Al-Ahli Volleyball Club team won today, Sunday, over its Kuwaiti counterpart, with a score of (3-2), in the fifth day of the fourth West Asian Club Championship, which continues in Kuwait until February 14, with the participation of 11 teams.
The Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Complex witnessed an exciting match that witnessed the brilliance of the players of both teams, but the Bahraini Al-Ahly team decided the rounds by (26-24), (20-25), (25-19), (20-25) and (16-14).
It is noteworthy that the teams participating in the tournament were divided into three groups, the first of which included Al-Rayyan of Qatar (the defending champion), Majis of Oman, and Gas Al-Janoub of Iraq, while the second group included Kuwait (the host), Shabab Al-Batroun of Lebanon, Al-Wakrah of Qatar, and Al-Ahly of Bahrain, and the third group included Burgan of Kuwait, Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, Al-Seeb of Oman, and Dar Kulaib of Bahrain.
