Alcatraz AI Appoints Bobby Louissaint Head of Business Development

Alcatraz AI appointed former Meta technical partnerships leader Bobby Louissaint as its first Head of Business Development on September 3, 2026, according to an official company announcement. Louissaint joins the physical security technology provider to scale its presence across data centers, AI infrastructure, enterprise access, and executive protection markets from the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.

Leadership Background and Industry Experience

Louissaint transitions to Alcatraz AI after serving at Meta as the Head of Technical Partnership Engagement within Global Systems Services & Technology, according to the company statement. His career includes executive roles at established access control and security providers including ADT, Tyco, and Johnson Controls, alongside a tenure at Ambient AI. This background gives him direct experience with both legacy badge-based systems and AI-native security technology.

In addition to his corporate roles, Louissaint maintains an active leadership presence in the physical security sector. He serves on the board of the Security Industry Association (SIA) and previously chaired SPARC, which functions as SIA’s Technical End User Forum. That steering committee includes security leaders from companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Disney, and TikTok. He is also involved in workforce development through the International Organization of Black Security Executives (IOBSE) and SCEA, the Security Coalition of Education and Advancement, a division of The Security Foundation (TSF).

Addressing Tailgating in Hyperscale Data Centers

Alcatraz AI has established a market footprint in high-security sectors, including hyperscale data centers, financial institutions, airports, and nuclear and energy infrastructure. According to the company, more than half of the approximately 17 hyperscale data center operators headquartered in the United States currently deploy Alcatraz AI technology to secure physical access to their facilities.

“I’ve led technical evaluations as both an integrator and end user for hyperscale enterprise operations my whole career, putting the world’s leading security products through their paces,” Louissaint stated in the company’s announcement. “What’s clear is we need access control to control access. Tailgating is the most challenging issue in physical security, and after evaluating countless biometric solutions, Alcatraz AI stood out as the clear game-changer.”

The appointment coincides with a focus on tailgating data within the industry. Alcatraz AI released an independent national survey earlier in the year showing that half of Americans have never used the term “tailgating” to describe a security breach, despite the frequency of the occurrence. Louissaint’s role will involve utilizing this data to forge new partnerships across hyperscale, enterprise, and executive-protection markets.

Executive Perspective on Growth

Alcatraz AI CEO Tina D’Agostin noted that Louissaint’s background at Meta positions him to address the specific demands of hyperscale infrastructure operators. “As Alcatraz’s growth explodes in AI infrastructure and data centers, Bobby’s experience leading technical partnerships at Meta means he has worked directly with hyperscalers on some of the most demanding security requirements in the industry,” D’Agostin stated.

The company’s client roster extends beyond hyperscale operators to include Fortune 100 companies, universities, hospitals, professional sports teams in the NFL and NBA, and private individuals. With Louissaint leading business development, Alcatraz AI aims to expand deployment of its biometric access control platform across these enterprise verticals.
