Alchemy Technology Group Expands West Coast Presence with ECS Acquisition

Alchemy Technology Group, an IT advisory, consulting, and reseller firm backed by Avance Investment Management, has acquired Enterprise Computing Solutions, Inc. (ECS). The acquisition, announced on March 5, 2026, strengthens Alchemy’s capabilities in edge computing, cloud infrastructure, and network security while expanding its footprint across Southern California’s enterprise technology market.

Expanding Capabilities and Geographic Reach

Through this acquisition, Alchemy Technology Group aims to enhance its ability to support mid- and large-enterprise organizations that rely on secure, high-performance connectivity between data centers, branch offices, and cloud platforms. ECS brings established customer relationships and specialized expertise in edge networking, network security, and managed infrastructure services, particularly in regulated and operations-intensive industries.

Strategic Alignment and Synergies

The move aligns with Alchemy Technology Group’s strategy of combining organic growth with targeted acquisitions to build a national platform capable of supporting enterprises navigating increasingly complex technology environments. Enterprise Computing Solutions will contribute deep technical knowledge in edge infrastructure and security architecture, areas that are becoming increasingly critical as organizations scale digital operations across distributed networks. The integration also adds experienced engineering talent and long-standing enterprise relationships in Southern California.

Addressing Evolving IT Needs

The companies noted that enterprise IT leaders are increasingly consolidating their vendor ecosystems and seeking advisory-led partners capable of connecting architecture, operations, and risk management across cloud and security initiatives. Rapid adoption of artificial intelligence technologies is also placing new demands on networks and security controls, while regulatory pressures are pushing boards and executives to demand clearer visibility into cyber risk.

Executive Perspectives

“Customers want partners they can trust and establish lasting relationships with. You achieve this by consistently demonstrating aptitude, integrity, and an ability to deliver. ECS embodies these traits and we couldn’t be more excited to bring them into the Alchemy family. ECS brings edge and network security strength in a critical growth region for Alchemy. This acquisition advances our strategy to build a national platform through targeted acquisitions that complement our organic growth,” said Wes Davis, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Alchemy Technology Group.

“Joining Alchemy lets us offer clients a broader set of capabilities without losing the local focus and responsiveness they expect from ECS. Our teams share a culture of doing the right thing for customers, investing in technical talent, and taking a long-term view of relationships. That alignment creates more opportunity for our employees and gives our clients a stronger partner as their environments become more complex,” said Phil Blackley, CEO of Enterprise Computing Solutions.
