Allan Saint-Maximin Condemns Racial Discrimination Against His Children in Mexico
Club América striker Allan Saint-Maximin has publicly denounced instances of racial discrimination targeting his children in Mexico. The 28-year-old French footballer took too Instagram to express his outrage and unwavering commitment to protecting his family.
“The problem is not the color of the skin, it’s the color of the thoughts,” Saint-Maximin wrote in a statement posted late Thursday. “People are attacking me, that’s not a problem. I grew up, I learned to fight against attacks, whether covert, hidden, or frontal. But there is one thing that I will never tolerate, and that is that people attack my children.”
While Saint-Maximin did not detail the specific incidents, reports from local media suggest the discrimination occurred within a school environment. He firmly warned those responsible, stating, “to those who dared to attack my children, I tell you: you made a mistake. I will always fight to protect my own, and there is no person or threat that will scare me.”
Saint-Maximin joined Club América in August 2025, marking the sixth championship of his professional career. Throughout his career, he has played for approximately ten clubs, including Newcastle and Monaco, and began his training at Saint-Étienne. This recent experience underscores the ongoing issue of racial prejudice and the importance of defending vulnerable family members against such acts.
