AWS Announces new EC2 G7e Instances Powered by AMD GPUs

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched the new EC2 G7e instances, featuring AMD Radeon Pro V700 GPUs adn AMD EPYC processors. These instances are designed to deliver up to 55% better price performance for graphics-intensive workloads compared to previous generation GPU instances.

Key Features and Benefits:

* AMD radeon Pro V700 GPUs: The G7e instances leverage the power of AMD Radeon Pro V700 GPUs, offering enhanced performance for visualization, machine learning inference, and other GPU-accelerated applications.
* AMD EPYC Processors: Paired with AMD EPYC processors, these instances provide a strong foundation for compute-intensive tasks.
* AWS Parallel computing Service (AWS PCS) Support: G7e instances support AWS PCS, enabling efficient scaling for high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. Support for Amazon SageMaker AI is planned for the near future.
