New Kindle Scribe Devices Available December 10
Amazon announced on Thursday that its newest Kindle Scribe and the first-ever color Kindle Scribe will be available for purchase starting December 10. This follows their unveiling in September. Learn more here.
The new Kindle Scribe has a larger 11-inch glare-free display. It’s very thin at just 5.4mm and weighs only 400g. Amazon also made it 40% faster for writing and turning pages. A new textured glass improves how the pen feels as you write, making it more like writing on paper.
The device also includes a new quad-core chip, more memory, and Amazon’s latest Oxide display technology for a smoother experience.
You can choose between two versions: one with a front light and one without. The Kindle Scribe with a front light will cost $499.99 and will be available on December 10. The version without a front light will be available early next year for $429.99.
