Amy Hart Welcomes Second Baby Boy with Husband Sam Rason
Former Love Island star Amy Hart, 33 and her husband Sam Rason have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Hart announced the news on Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of the newborn meeting his “besotted” older brother, Stanley, who is two years ancient.
Early Arrival and Family Joy
In her Instagram post, Hart revealed the couple has yet to name their fresh son. She shared, “Another Beautiful Boy To Love. He is just gorgeous and we are so in love already!” She jokingly attributed the early arrival – at 8lbs 6oz – to a day spent walking around a farm, suggesting that three more weeks of gestation might have been unnecessary.
Hart also noted Stanley’s excitement about his new sibling, stating he “can’t wait for him to join his Basketball team.” She acknowledged that, as always, life with a new baby is never without its challenges.
Pregnancy Journey and Past Heartache
Throughout her pregnancy, Hart has been open about her experiences with anxiety, particularly given her previous struggles with two miscarriages. She and Rason announced they were expecting their second child in December 2025, a journey she described as “difficult” following their previous losses.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Hart explained the emotional toll of the miscarriages, noting that their reaction to the positive pregnancy test this time was initially one of disbelief. She recounted their reactions to subsequent pregnancies, expressing a desire to “carry on with our lives as normal” and avoid overthinking the situation. Rason also experienced anxiety throughout the pregnancy, needing to see the baby born before fully relaxing.
Navigating Parenthood and Ignoring Criticism
Hart also addressed the issue of “mum-shaming” and her approach to parenting. She expressed a determination to “trust herself” more with her second child, having previously faced criticism regarding her care for Stanley.
“I think when I had Stanley, everyone was very like, ‘oh, you’re doing this wrong, you’re doing this wrong, you’re doing this wrong, you’re overfeeding him,’” Hart recalled. “I was like, ‘do you aim for me to abandon him to be hungry? I’m really confused.’” She now feels confident in her parenting abilities, noting Stanley’s healthy development and happiness.
