Scarlett Moffatt Evicted From I’m A Celebrity… South Africa One Day Before Final Scarlett Moffatt has been eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, just one day before the series finale. The Gogglebox star finished last in a trial involving counting coloured balls while being showered with maggots, cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, resulting in her eviction from the ITV programme. Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec after leaving the camp, Moffatt said she was “gutted” to be departing so close to the final. “I felt like I was so close. I was the last girl standing,” she told the presenters. Her exit means the four celebrities who will compete in Friday night’s live final are Olympian Sir Mo Farah, former football manager Harry Redknapp, actor and DJ Craig Charles, and actor Adam Thomas. The quartet will battle it out for the title of “ultimate legend 2026”. Moffatt reflected on her time in the camp, admitting the South African spin-off proved more challenging than her victorious 2016 stint, where she was crowned Queen Of The Jungle. “Just the trials. Who comes up with these? They’re sickos,” she said. Asked why she returned to the show, she said: “This show honestly means everything to us.” She told Ant and Dec: “I just feel like growing up, I watched you two on SMTV Live, and hearing your accent made me feel like, if I wanted to do it, then I could, because of you. It means a lot.” “I’ve really, really had the best time.” Questioned about her fellow campmates, she said: “We’re all as mad as a box of frogs, aren’t we? I just feel like everyone’s eccentrically wonderful.” When asked who she would like to notice win, Moffatt replied: “Please Mo. He is just the most wonderful human being. There’s not a bad bone in his body.”
