The autumn schedule kicks off with a dedicated smart home and accessories event anticipated for Tuesday, October 13, bringing fresh hardware to the company’s connected ecosystem.

Smart Home Hardware Opens the October Schedule

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman indicates that Apple will unveil a brand-new home automation hub on October 13. This opening wave features a HomePod equipped with an integrated screen, an updated HomePod mini, and a refreshed Apple TV. Alongside the smart home gear, rumors point toward the introduction of a redesigned iPad mini. Apple has not yet confirmed whether the tablet will debut during the October 13 event or wait for the second wave of hardware.

Industry sources point to several MacBook Pro models featuring OLED screens, a thinner and lighter chassis design, and an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by an M6 chip. An updated iMac utilizing the same M6 processor is also scheduled for introduction during this late-month window.

High-end desktop users can expect a heavily upgraded Mac Studio configuration. This professional machine will feature an M5 Ultra chip paired with 512 GB of RAM. The base price for the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro variant is set at 1,799 euros.
