The renowned “Chianina in tavola in tour” format returns on Thursday, May 7. This initiative, organized by the Consorzio di Tutela Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP and the “Amici della Chianina” association, celebrates the quality of one of Italy’s most prestigious cattle breeds. The tour kicks off its fifth edition with its first stop at Walter Redaelli in Bettolle (SI), offering a series of eight dinner-meetings dedicated to gastronomic quality.

The jump, performed from 4,000 meters by paratrooper Paolo Filippini under expert instruction, is led by Andreina Giorgia Carpenito, the creator of the “Mosaico di Indicatore.” This event precedes the official presentation of the “Oltre i sensi” project at the Chiesa dello Santo Spirito di Indicatore.

Closing the mid-May window, the historical re-enactment of the Battle of Scannagallo returns from Friday, May 15, to Sunday, May 17. In a departure from previous years, this edition will be spread across three locations: Pozzo della Chiana, Foiano della Chiana, and Marciano della Chiana, offering a wider geographic immersion into Tuscan history.
