Ariana Grande Shows Support for Ethan Slater as Off-Broadway Show Concludes
Ariana Grande publicly expressed her pride in boyfriend Ethan Slater following the closing of his off-Broadway production, Marcel on the Train. The singer shared a message of support on her Instagram Story, marking a rare public acknowledgment of their relationship.

Grande reposted an Instagram post from Slater with a congratulatory message, stating, “Congratulations on a beautiful run of this exceptionally beautiful show ♡🦋♡,” and adding, “So very proud.” She had also consistently shown support throughout the winter by “liking” all of Slater’s posts related to the production, as reported by ELLE and People.

Grande and Slater have largely kept their relationship private. During the promotional tour for Wicked: For Good last fall, they intentionally avoided public displays of affection, as reported by People. A source told Entertainment Tonight in September that the couple was “still together and very happy with each other,” and “enjoy keeping their private life private.”
A Longstanding Relationship
Grande and Slater have been together since news of their relationship first surfaced in July 2023. In September 2024, Grande praised Slater’s character to Vanity Fair, stating, “No one on this earth tries harder or spreads themselves thinner to be there for the people that he loves and cares about. There is no one on this earth with a better heart.”
