Ariana Grande Reveals Foot Injury Ahead of London Shows

Pop star Ariana Grande is performing her final London concerts in comfortable footwear while recovering from a minor foot injury, according to an announcement shared with fans on her Instagram Story.

Grande told her audience ahead of Monday evening’s show at the O2 Arena that she would need to swap her signature high heels for “cozy footwear” for her final two performances on Monday and Tuesday. The pop star explained to her followers, whom she addressed as “sweet petals,” that she is bandaged underneath and recovering from a minor injury.

The injury is neither a sprain nor a muscular issue, but rather a “deep cut.” Fans had previously taken to social media and TikTok to share concerns after spotting the singer limping on stage during her 10-night residency in London, prompting the direct update from the artist.

“So when you see me tonight without my signature heels, or even possibly having a little trouble putting weight on that foot, that is why,” Grande wrote on Instagram. She reassured concertgoers by adding, “But please do not fret. On with the show and I am on the mend!”

Eternal Sunshine Tour Nears Its Final Curtain

The London performances mark the conclusion of Grande’s Eternal Sunshine tour, which originally kicked off in June in Oakland, California. Following Tuesday night’s final show at the O2 Arena, the singer plans to step away from the public eye for a planned career break.

Earlier this month, Grande addressed her upcoming hiatus directly from the stage, clarifying that the decision to take a break was made thoughtfully long in advance and was not a reactive response to public scrutiny. She told fans that the tour has been “the greatest experience of my professional and creative life.”

Despite the physical setback of a deep cut, Grande expressed excitement for her final two nights on stage, joking on her Instagram Story that she might be “a few inches shorter than usual” without her trademark heels. She signed off her message with reassurance for her fans: “On with the show… I love you always.”
