Vermont Cannabis Convention Returns to Burlington in May 2026
BURLINGTON — The 7th Annual Vermont Cannabis Convention will capture place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Burlington on May 8-9, 2026. The event marks a return to Burlington after a period at a different venue, and will feature new hours and cannabis display policies.
The convention, organized by the New England Cannabis Network (NECANN), is a key annual gathering for Vermont’s cannabis industry. It will include a full floor of exhibitors, interactive presentations, and panel discussions.
New Cannabis Display Policies
A significant development for the 2026 convention is the implementation of a new event display protocol. This allows licensed cannabis businesses to display cannabis flower and products at the event, a change organizer Eli Harrington calls a “big step forward” in the industry’s evolution.
Keynote Speaker and Educational Panels
The convention will feature a keynote speech from Dr. Riley Kirk, Ph.D., a cannabis researcher, author, and professor. Additional panels will cover topics relevant to consumers, homegrowers, medical patients, and industry professionals, including cultivation techniques, hash and concentrate manufacturing, and professional cannabis judging.
Return to Burlington and Event Timing
The return to the Doubletree by Hilton in Burlington is timed to coincide with Vermont’s gardening season, providing a relevant context for discussions on cannabis genetics and nutrients.
