Ubisoft released the first piece of concept art for Black Flag Resynced in a blog post detailing the future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise IGN. The image depicts the game’s protagonist, Edward Kenway, standing on a ship’s sail.

The remake is expected to arrive later this year IGN. Ubisoft is shifting its focus to Black Flag Resynced as post-launch support for Assassin’s Creed Shadows winds down IGN. Although Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe is in development, it is still some time away from release.
