Atlanta Drive GC clinched a playoff berth in the TGL season despite a 1-1 record in their doubleheader on Monday night, February 23, 2026. The team’s early 5-2 victory over Boston Common Golf proved crucial, while a later loss to Los Angeles Golf Club did not diminish their overall standing.

Atlanta Drive Dominates Boston Common

The first match of the evening saw Atlanta Drive GC defeat Boston Common Golf 5-2. Chris Gotterup emerged as a key player, defeating Rory McIlroy in both of his singles matchups. Gotterup, who has likewise achieved success on the PGA Tour with two wins earlier in the 2026 season, continued his impressive form at the SoFi Center.1

Michelle Wie West is also set to join WTGL, the women’s counterpart to TGL, which is scheduled to launch at the end of 2026.3
