Attorney General Removes Prosecutor Leaders Across Indonesia

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has again transferred and rotated a number of officials within the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office.

A total of 31 Chief District Attorney (Kajari) changed positions based on the latest decision signed on February 11 2026.

These mutations and rotations are stated in the Decree Attorney General Republic of Indonesia Number KEP-IV-161/C/02/2026.

The letter was signed by the Deputy Attorney General for Development, Hendro Dewanto.

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the Attorney General’s Office, Anang Supriatna, confirmed the change.

“It’s true there is (a mutation),” said Anang to reporters, Wednesday (11/2/2026).

Three names are in the spotlight

The three names in the spotlight in this mutation are Kajari Sampang, Kajari Magetan, and Kajari Padang Lawas.

All three are known to have undergone it internal inspection by Kegung.

The position of Kajari Sampang is now held by Mochamad Iqbal.

He replaces Fadilah Helmi who was previously brought to the Attorney General’s Office by the Special Task Force Team (Satgasus).

Meanwhile, the position of Kajari Magetan is filled by Sabrul Iman, who previously served as Kajari South Bangka.

Sabrul replaces Dezi Septiapermana who was also taken to Jakarta to undergo further internal examination.

Meanwhile, Kajari Padang Lawas, Soemarlin Halomoan Ritonga, was also removed from his position and replaced by Hasbi Kurniawan.

Previously, Soemarlin together with the Head of Intel at the Padang Lawas Prosecutor’s Office Ganda Nahot Manalu and an Intel Administration staff member, Zul Irfan, were questioned by the Attorney General regarding the alleged quotation of village funds.

However, Anang has not explained further regarding the development of the examination results.

In the transfer letter, it is also not known what new positions will be held by Fadilah Helmi, Dezi Septiapermana, or Soemarlin Halomoan Ritonga.

Apart from these three names, the following is a list of 31 new Kajaris based on the Attorney General’s decree:

10. Closing the Minuary Revelation as East Kutai Kutai
11. Firdaus as Kajari Rokan Hilir
12. Tri Anggoro Mukti as Kajari Surabaya
13. Mirza Erwinsyah as Kajari Gianyar
14. Muchammad Arifin as Kajari North Kolaka
