Australian PM Anthony Albanese Marries Partner

Jakarta – Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese married his girlfriend,Jodie Haydon,on Saturday,November 29,2025. This makes Albanese the first leader in the country’s history to marry while in office.

According to AFP, the 60-year-old Prime Minister wed the financial services worker in a private ceremony held in the garden of his official Canberra residence, The Lodge. The ceremony was intimate and focused on the couple.

“Married,” Albanese announced in a brief social media post. He shared a video showing himself in a bow tie, holding hands with his smiling wife, who wore a long white dress. The post quickly gained attention and well wishes from across the country and internationally.

Albanese and Haydon’s relationship began in 2022. They kept their romance largely private before announcing their engagement earlier this year.The Prime Minister has a son from a previous marriage.
