Banca Credito Popolare Partners with Nexi for POS Terminals

Rome,Italy – january 12,2026 – Banca di Credito popolare di Torre del Greco and Nexi have announced a strategic partnership focused on the transfer of the bank’s merchant acquiring business unit to Nexi Payments. This agreement encompasses approximately 4,700 Point of Sale (POS) terminals currently serving around 3,400 merchants.

The collaboration aims to enhance the payment acceptance capabilities offered to the bank’s customers, ensuring alignment with evolving market standards in both functionality and user experience. According to Mario Crosta, General Director of Banca di credito Popolare di Torre del Greco, the partnership will strengthen the bank’s commercial presence and foster enduring relationships with local businesses.

“This partnership allows us to provide our customers with products and services for accepting payment instruments that are constantly aligned, in content and methods of use, with the highest market standards, while enhancing our commercial presence and long-term relationship with local merchants,” stated Crosta.
