Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of former President Donald Trump, has been appointed as a director for Sollos Yerba Mate Inc., a new beverage company based in Palm Beach, Florida. The company, which focuses on producing yerba mate – a caffeinated herbal tea popular in South America – was incorporated in December, according to state business records.

Company Formation and Registration

Registration documents filed in both Florida and Delaware list Barron Trump and four other individuals – Spencer Bernstein, Rudolfo Castello, Stephen Hall and Valentino Gomez – as directors of Sollos Yerba Mate Inc. The company’s registered address is located a few blocks north of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach.

Yerba Mate Market and Sollos’s Brand

Sollos will produce yerba mate, a traditional South American beverage gaining popularity in the United States as a healthier alternative to coffee and other caffeinated drinks. The global yerba mate market is projected to grow significantly in the coming decade.

The company’s name, “Sollos,” is a nod to Florida’s “Sunshine State” nickname, utilizing the Spanish word for sun, “sol,” and is also a palindrome. Sollos describes itself as a Florida-founded lifestyle beverage built around clean and functional ingredients.

Barron Trump’s Background

Barron Trump, who turned 20 on March 20, is currently a student at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach in May 2024.

Financial Backing

Sollos Yerba Mate Inc. Has raised $1 million in capital through a private placement, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company is headquartered at a 4,500-square-foot property in Palm Beach, Florida.
