Chimney Lift Launches October Half-Term Halloween Activities in London
Battersea Power Station reported a schedule of Halloween-themed events for the October half-term, offering families electric science workshops and landmark-spotting challenges alongside its regular glass elevator rides. Wild Science will host interactive educational sessions, while visitors can also search for hidden landmarks from a viewing platform 109 meters above the River Thames.
Wild Science Frightfully Static Workshops at Battersea Power Station
Wild Science presents its Frightfully Static workshops on Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, and Thursday 29th October. Sessions run twice daily at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, featuring a Nutty Professor leading hands-on electrostatic science demonstrations. Children can observe foil ribbons floating, make bats and spiders leap without physical contact, and experience hair-raising demonstrations included with standard Chimney Lift tickets without requiring advance booking.
Landmark Challenges and Charlie the Chimney Mascot Appearances
Children can participate in the I Spy London Landmarks Challenge throughout the half-term by collecting an activity sheet and crayons to identify famous structures from the 109-meter-high vantage point. Successful participants earn a stamp and a sweet treat, with a daily chance to win a Charlie the Chimney soft toy. The mascot character Charlie will also make scheduled public appearances in a Halloween outfit on Monday 26th October, Wednesday 28th October, and Sunday 1st November at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.
