Niederösterreichische Versicherung Appoints Thomas Wild and Ludwig Schleritzko to Executive Board

Niederösterreichische Versicherung has restructured its executive leadership ahead of Generaldirektor Stefan Jauk’s planned transition to the Raiffeisen sector in May 2027, according to a report by bauernzeitung.at. The supervisory board appointed longtime division head Thomas Wild to the board effective November 1, alongside the departure of Vorstandsdirektor Stefan Wukovitsch at the end of the month.

Thomas Wild and Ludwig Schleritzko Join Executive Board

Thomas Wild, 50, joins Generaldirektor Stefan Jauk and Vorstandsdirektor Patrick Lachmann on the executive board. Wild has spent more than 20 years at the company, currently heading the insurance technology claims/accident division. He has served in various functions and belonged to the extended management team for years.

Simultaneously, former regional finance minister Ludwig Schleritzko will join the leadership team on November 1, 2026, as general representative for sales with power of attorney. Schleritzko is slated to take over as sales board director at the end of 2027, subject to approval by the Financial Market Authority. In this capacity, he will manage central sales tasks and represent the company externally, according to company statements cited by bauernzeitung.at.

Departure of Stefan Wukovitsch

Vorstandsdirektor Stefan Wukovitsch is leaving the insurer at the end of the month. Supervisory board President Franz Raab and Generaldirektor Stefan Jauk stated that Wukovitsch is departing at his own request and on the best of terms.

Raab and Jauk noted that these early personnel decisions set the strategic course for the coming years. The insurer currently serves roughly 300,000 customers and employs approximately 700 people.
