Bayley Wins Grueling Gauntlet Match, Earns Championship Opportunity

Seattle, Washington – Bayley emerged victorious from a chaotic gauntlet match on Monday Night Raw, securing a future championship opportunity. The match, filled with interference and dramatic eliminations, ultimately saw Bayley defeat Asuka to claim the win.

Gauntlet Match Highlights

The gauntlet match began with IYO SKY and Lyra Valkyria. SKY quickly gained an advantage with a missile dropkick, but Valkyria fought back, sending SKY out of the ring. SKY eventually eliminated Valkyria with the Over the Moonsault.

Raquel Rodriguez entered next, briefly dominating SKY before Liv Morgan’s interference created an opening for Rodriguez to trip SKY. Stephanie Vaquer then attacked Morgan, leading to a brawl up the entrance ramp. SKY capitalized on the distraction, rolling up Rodriguez for the elimination.

Nile then entered the match and quickly pinned SKY for the elimination. Bayley was next, but was blindsided by Nile. After a hard-fought battle, Bayley eliminated Nile with a Bayley-to-Belly.

Asuka entered as the final competitor, accompanied by Kairi Sane. A back-and-forth contest ensued, with Asuka applying an Ankle Lock on Bayley. However, Bayley escaped and connected with Rose Plant on Asuka for the win.

Intercontinental Championship Match

Penta defended the Intercontinental Championship against The Original El Grande Americano. Prior to the match, Penta expressed gratitude to Adam Pearce, his family, co-workers, and fans, stating the Intercontinental Championship is for those who never gave up.

Other Notable Events

During the commercial break, Maxxine Dupri attacked Nattie on the entrance ramp. OG El Grande Americano was also seen interacting with Danhausen backstage.

Earlier in the night, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce addressed the recent actions of Seth “Freakin” Rollins, who appeared in the ring surrounded by masked individuals.
