Arizona Beach Volleyball announces Action-Packed 2026 Schedule

TUCSON, Ariz. – the University of Arizona Beach Volleyball team has unveiled its competitive schedule for the 2026 season, featuring a mix of challenging opponents and opportunities to compete on home sand [[2]]. The Wildcats will host three regular season tournaments and the big 12 Championship, promising an exciting season for fans.
Season Highlights
The season kicks off with an intrasquad Red vs. Blue scrimmage on February 13th in Tucson, providing an early glimpse of the teamS talent.Following the scrimmage, Arizona will travel to Phoenix to participate in the Lopes Invitational hosted by Grand Canyon University from february 20-21. During this invitational, the Wildcats will face TCU, Grand Canyon University, UC Davis, and Colorado Mesa.
Home Tournament Action
Bear Down Beach will be bustling with activity as Arizona hosts the Cactus Classic on February 27-28. the Wildcats will welcome UTEP, Arizona State, Oregon, and Georgia State to Tucson for this tournament. The following weekend, March 6-7, Arizona will head to Tempe to compete in the Sun Devil Classic, facing Southern Mississippi, Nebraska, Arizona State, and Arizona Christian.
West Coast and Texas Road trips
Mid-March will see the Wildcats travel to California for the Mustang Roundup, hosted by Cal Poly in San luis Obispo on March 13-14. They will compete against Cal Poly, CSUN, Santa Clara, and UC Davis. Returning to Tucson, Arizona will host the Arizona Invitational on March 20-21, with matches against Tarleton State, UTEP, missouri State, and San Francisco.
Arizona will then journey to Fort Worth, Texas, for the Big 12 Preview hosted by TCU on March 27-28. This tournament will feature a strong field of competitors, including TCU, Arizona State, Boise State, south Carolina, and Florida State.
Concluding the Regular Season and Championship Play
April brings more home action with the Wildcat Spring Challenge on April 3-4, hosting south Carolina, FGCU, Colorado Mesa, and Hawaii. Saturday’s matches will also serve as Senior Day, honoring the team’s graduating players. The regular season will conclude on the road at the NOLA Classic hosted by Tulane in New orleans,Louisiana,on april 17-18,where Arizona will face tulane,Louisiana Monroe,New Orleans,and Florida international.
Postseason play will begin in Tucson as Arizona proudly hosts the Big 12 Championship on April 23-24. The ultimate goal for the Wildcats is to advance to the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships, scheduled for May 1-3 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
