American Dominance at Pompano Beach Futures: Tan & Myszkowski Secure Gold

Pompano Beach, FL – American beach volleyball duos showcased their strength at the 2025 Pompano Beach Futures, a Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour event, claiming both gold medals in the men’s and women’s tournaments. The event, which featured 28 men’s and 28 women’s teams representing 25 countries, highlighted the growing depth of talent within U.S. Beach volleyball.

Women’s Tournament: Tan & Myszkowski Triumph

The sixth-seeded American pair of Kamila Tan and Natalie Myszkowski emerged victorious in the women’s division, remaining undefeated throughout the competition. They clinched the gold medal with a hard-fought 3-set win (21-17, 18-21, 15-10) against Spain’s Nazaret Florian and Adriana Serrano . Their performance included a historic run to the championship, as highlighted by their gold medal win at the Florida Volleyball Championships .

Fellow Americans Maya Gessner and Carly Kan also secured a spot on the podium, earning the bronze medal with a straight-sets victory over Canada’s Maya McNabney and Emma Kunaus . Gessner and Kan also achieved success at the Pompano Beach Futures, earning a podium finish .

Men’s Tournament: Partain & Mewhirter Dominate

In the men’s bracket, top-seeded Americans Miles Partain and Travis Mewhirter dominated the competition, securing the gold medal without dropping a match. They defeated Germany’s Tristan Frobel and Tamo Wust in the final with a 2-0 victory (21-15, 22-20) .

Latvia’s Gustavs Auzins and Ernests Puskundzis claimed the bronze medal, defeating Poland’s Aleksander Czachorowski and Michal Korycki in a thrilling three-set match .
