About Chaoyang District

Chaoyang District is a central urban district of Beijing, bordering several other districts including Shunyi, Tongzhou, Daxing, Fengtai, Dongcheng, Xicheng, Haidian and Changping [1]. It covers an area of 470.8 square kilometers (181.8 square miles) [1] and, as of November 2020, had a population of 3,452,460, making it the most populous district in Beijing [1].
