BenQ PD2732U: 27-Inch 4K Thunderbolt 4 Monitor for Creative Professionals

The BenQ PD2732U is a 27-inch 4K UHD monitor designed for creative professionals, graphic designers, photographers, and content creators, featuring 99 percent AdobeRGB and 99 percent Display P3 color coverage. Announced by display manufacturer BenQ, the monitor retails for CHF 749 including VAT as of August 2026, according to official product specifications.

Color Accuracy and Professional Workflows

The BenQ PD2732U provides a 4K resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels and is built specifically for digital-to-print workflows. According to BenQ, the panel covers 99 percent AdobeRGB, 99 percent Display P3, 100 percent sRGB, and 100 percent Rec.709 color spaces to maintain consistent color across different output media. The display uses AQCOLOR technology alongside factory calibration yielding a Delta E average of less than or equal to 2, and holds Calman, Pantone, and Pantone SkinTone validations. Users can manage hardware calibration via the AQCOLOR Pilot software.

Panel Uniformity and Anti-Glare Display

To ensure consistent brightness and color across the entire screen, BenQ integrates a Uniformity technology calibration process that minimizes deviations from corner to corner. The display utilizes a Nano Matte Black panel coating designed to reduce ambient light reflections and help users evaluate contrast and fine color nuances in bright office environments. The IPS panel offers a typical brightness of 400 nits, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a native contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Connectivity and Thunderbolt 4 Integration

Equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 interface, the PD2732U handles video signals, data transmission, and up to 90 watts of Power Delivery to connected laptops over a single cable. A Thunderbolt 4 output port provides an additional 15 watts of power and enables daisy-chain connections for multi-monitor setups, such as linking two 4K displays. The monitor also features an integrated KVM switch, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, multiple USB Type-A and Type-C downstream ports, and a dedicated USB Type-C upstream port. Accessories included in the box feature a 1-meter Thunderbolt 4 cable, a factory calibration report, and the Hotkey Puck G3 for navigating the on-screen display menu.
