Frankel explained she had purchased a beauty tool promoted by someone on social media. The product, described as a silicone cup attached to a glass cylinder, was intended for facial contouring. She detailed that the tool was meant to provide relief for jaw pain caused by teeth grinding. During use, the glass component broke, causing a deep cut.
“These balls, they’re supposed to contour your face,” Frankel explained in the video. “I grind my teeth and my jaw is pronounced and it hurts, so it would give some relief and I saw red in there and I thought it was my skin.”

Frankel expressed relief that the injury wasn’t more severe, stating she could have potentially slashed her jugular. She immediately sought to stop the bleeding and heal the wound, showcasing a first-aid product she hoped would expedite recovery.
