Asta Claims the Wizard King Title in the Final Manga Chapters
Following a serialization run that began in 2015, the Black Clover manga officially concluded on May 1, 2026, in Jump GIGA’s Spring Edition, releasing chapters 390, 391, and 392 in a single batch, comicbook.com reported. In the final chapters, protagonist Asta achieved his lifelong goal of becoming the Clover Kingdom’s Wizard King. To secure the prestigious title—bestowed only upon the strongest mage of the kingdom—Asta had to defeat Julius Novachrono, who served as the final antagonist during Judgment Day, according to gamerant.com.
After overcoming Julius, Asta faced his rival Yuno in chapters 390 and 391. At the conclusion of chapter 391, Asta emerged victorious in their one-versus-one battle, proving himself as the strongest mage despite being born without mana, gamerant.com reported. This final arc victory brought a definitive resolution to the story after entering its final phase in 2022.
