Blue Brain Games to Release Definitive Edition of The House of Da Vinci
Blue Brain Games, the indie studio behind the popular puzzle adventure game The House of Da Vinci, is set to release a “Definitive Edition” of the game on March 10, 2026. The update will be available for free to existing owners on Steam and will address player feedback with significant changes to gameplay, graphics, and audio.
Addressing Player Feedback with Fundamental Changes
Following feedback received after the initial release, Blue Brain Games has redesigned the game’s overall pacing to improve the connection between puzzles, and chapters. The finale of the game, centered around the quest for truth at Wardenclyffe, has been completely overhauled. New puzzles have been added, and the graphic presentation has been modified to enhance the visual experience.
Enhanced Visuals and Audio Design
The Definitive Edition features improved lighting and textures, aiming for a better overall look for the exploration of Tesla’s house. Alongside the visual upgrades, adjustments have been made to the audio design to create a more immersive atmosphere, evoking the feeling of an abandoned mansion with the potential to change the world.
Expanded Platform Availability
Blue Brain Games plans to expand the availability of The House of Da Vinci beyond Steam. Ports are in development for the Epic Games Store and GOG. The studio is working on versions for PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android devices, bringing the puzzle adventure to a wider audience.
