‘Bluey’s Massive Play’ and New Minisodes Head to Disney+
Disney+ is expanding its “Bluey” offerings with new content this month and later this spring, bringing more of the beloved animated series to families.
‘Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Reveal’ Premieres March 16
A televised version of the popular touring theatrical production, “Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show,” will premiere on Disney+ on March 16, 2026. The special features live performances of fan-favorite “Bluey” characters brought to life by world-class puppeteers . The show is based on the multiple Emmy® Award-winning animated series, with an original story by “Bluey” creator Joe Brumm and music composed by Joff Bush .
10 ‘Bluey Minisodes’ Arrive May 20
Disney+ will also release a collection of 10 “Bluey Minisodes” for the first time on May 20, 2026. These bite-sized episodes, previously available online and in Australia, range from one to three minutes in length and are produced by Ludo Studio . The minisode collection includes:

- Green Bottles
- Flying Saucer
- Tea Party
- Pea Pod Sausages
- Old Macdonald
- Honk
- Lollipop Song
- Cinderella
- Make Mum Laugh
‘Bluey’ Remains a Streaming Giant
“Bluey” continues to be a dominant force in streaming. In 2025, the series was the #1 most-streamed program in the U.S. For the second consecutive year, amassing 45.2 billion minutes streamed . The series, which began airing in 2018 on ABC Kids, follows the adventures of Bluey, a six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy, and her family.
A feature-length “Bluey” movie is currently in development and slated for theatrical release on August 6, 2027 .
