Body Found: Missing Woman Case in Co Armagh Update

A body has been discovered in the ongoing search for 24-year-old Caitlin Green, who had been missing as Saturday, January 31st, in the Lurgan area of County Armagh, Northern Ireland.

Extensive searches were conducted by the Community Rescue Service and other teams in the Lurgan area following Ms. green’s disappearance. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed the finding of a body earlier today, February 7th.

According to a PSNI statement, the body was located in the Princes Street area of Lurgan. While formal identification is still pending, authorities have informed Ms. green’s family of the advancement.

“Police can confirm that the body of a woman has been located in the Princes street area of Lurgan this afternoon, Saturday 7 February,” a police spokesperson stated. “Whilst formal identification has not taken place, the family of Caitlin Green, who has been missing as Saturday afternoon, 31 January has been informed.”

Further updates will be provided as the examination progresses and formal identification is completed. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ms. Green’s disappearance and the discovery of the body.
