Boston Marathon Expo: A Guide for Runners

The 2026 Boston Marathon Expo, the 130th edition, will take place from Friday, April 17th through Sunday, April 19th at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston. This is the central hub for race packet pick-up, bib number distribution, and a showcase of sponsors and exhibitors.

Expo Dates and Hours

  • Friday, April 17: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 18: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 19: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Please note that expo hours are subject to change.

Location and Accessibility

The John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center is located at 900 Boylston St. In Boston. It is conveniently accessible via the MBTA’s Green Line, with stops at Hynes Convention Center and Copley stations.

Accessibility Note: The Hynes Convention Center T-Station is not ADA accessible. Athletes requiring ADA assistance should use the Prudential Center Stop or the Copley Square Stop on the Green Line.

Bib Number Information

  • Bib Number Pick-Up Passes will be emailed to all athletes prior to the expo.
  • Your bib number must be clearly displayed on the front of your torso throughout the race.
  • Do not alter, fold, cover, or reproduce your bib number.
  • Bib numbers are non-transferable.
  • Fill in medical and emergency contact information on the back of your bib.
  • The B.A.A. Discourages posting close-up pictures of bib numbers on social media to prevent fraudulent duplication.
  • Duplication or fraudulent use of a bib number will result in disqualification.
