Brahma AI, a native artificial intelligence operating system built for enterprise audiovisual content, announced on September 24, 2026, that it has raised $150 million through preferred stock. Multiples Alternate Asset Management led the round with a $100 million investment, while additional investor interest brought another $100 million, according to company statements.

Funding Aims and Global Expansion

The newly secured capital will accelerate research and development, scale commercialization globally, and expand the company’s footprint in Silicon Valley. Prabhu Narasimhan serves as the founder and CEO of Brahma AI, establishing the company to unite technologies and capabilities originating from DNEG, Metaphysic, and Prime Focus Technologies into a single enterprise platform. Jo Plaete, co-founder and chief technology officer, leads the technology and research division.

Renuka Ramnath, founder, managing director, and CEO of Multiples, stated that Brahma AI is reshaping the content supply chain by combining Hollywood-grade technology with enterprise innovation. Multiples Private Equity plans to act as an active growth partner, focusing investments on human resources, process scaling, and international market expansion.

Core Technology and Industry Applications

Brahma AI operates across four global sectors: media and entertainment, sports, healthcare, and advertising. Key international clients include Warner Bros, the NBA, and Mayo Clinic, with strategic distribution partnerships established alongside Google, Hakuhodo, and DNEG. The platform’s architecture relies on two main components:

  • Brahma AI Core: Manages enterprise content intelligence and media evaluation.
  • Brahma AI Studio: Provides a creative production suite covering visual AI, digital avatars, voice generation, and multilinguistic performance.

The company’s visual AI technology received industry recognition when it won a Technology & Engineering Emmy Award in 2026. Namit Malhotra, founder and CEO of DNEG, noted that the enterprise was formed to establish a standalone technology provider for the artificial intelligence era.

Looking ahead, CEO Prabhu Narasimhan announced plans to launch interactive digital avatars, make the operating system model-agnostic, and apply the technology to new use cases while prioritizing security, authenticity, and traceability. Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. acted as the exclusive placement agent for the financing round.

Brahma AI has raised $150 million in a round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management.
