Braves’ Prospect Power Surge: MLB Pipeline Updates Top 30 Rankings

ATLANTA, GA – March 3, 2026 – The Atlanta Braves’ farm system is generating significant buzz as MLB Pipeline released its updated Top 30 prospect rankings. The list reflects notable movement for several young players, signaling a potential influx of talent to the major league roster in the coming seasons.

Key Risers and Fallers

Didier Fuentes experienced the most significant jump, climbing from the 7th to the 3rd overall prospect. Owen Murphy, recovering from Tommy John surgery, also saw a substantial rise, moving from 8th to 6th. Luke Sinnard’s breakout season propelled him from 16th to 11th on the list.

Conversely, Garrett Baumann, despite increased velocity, dropped from 6th to 12th. Jose Perdomo experienced the largest fall, sliding from 15th to 25th after a challenging first full season in complex ball. David McCabe, previously considered a top positional prospect, has fallen out of the Top 30 entirely.

New Additions to the List

Several new names have entered the Top 30. Isaiah Drake debuted at 30th overall following a successful 2025 season. Raudy Reyes comes in at 29th, although Dixon Williams, who posted a 150 wRC+ in 2025 despite a near 30% strikeout rate, is ranked 28th. Newly signed international free agent Jose Manon enters the list at 27th and Patrick Clohisy, with 100 steals last year, is ranked 26th. Owen Carey, who wasn’t ranked at the start of 2025, now sits at 19th after hitting .258/.330/.345 across 117 games. Eric Hartman, a 20th-round pick, rounds out the top 20 at 20th overall.

Strengthening Positional Prospects

The updated rankings highlight a growing depth of positional prospects within the Braves organization, a welcome change after recent years. With the team holding the 9th and 26th picks in the upcoming MLB draft, and potential interest in Alfredo Sena next year, the future of the Braves appears bright.
