The women’s skeleton had the last two descents this Saturday in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, and Brazilian Nicole Silveira achieved the country’s best result in ice sports at the Winter Olympic Games.
What happened
The 31-year-old Brazilian was in 11th place after the four heats held – there were two on Friday (13) and two on Saturday (14). The sum of all times defined the final result, and Nicole finished with 3min51s82.
Better than Beijing-2022. In the last edition of the Winter Games, Nicole finished in 13th place. The result achieved this Saturday was the best in Brazil’s history on the ice.
