Bruno Guimarães, the Brazilian team’s starting midfielder, will miss the friendlies against France and Croatia in March. The Newcastle player suffered an injury to the hamstring of his left thigh and will be out for 8 to 10 weeks.
Final stretch for the World Cup
The friendlies against France and Croatia will be the last before the final list for the World Cup. The team faces the French on March 26th, in Boston, and the Croatians on March 31st, in Orlando.
Bruno Guimarães is expected to be out until at least mid-April. Ancelotti’s trusted name, the midfielder is working to try to shorten the deadline.
