Bulgaria’s Accession to the Eurozone Marked with Light Installation

The European Central Bank will mark Bulgaria’s accession to the eurozone with a light installation on the southern facade of it’s main building in Frankfurt am Main.

The installation was tested on Tuesday and will be projected from 1 to 11 January 2026. It includes visual elements such as the euro symbol, Bulgarian euro coins and the message “Welcome bulgaria”.

The project aims to highlight the historic moment of Bulgaria joining the Eurozone.
