Kane missed the empty goal once (27th), but was able to put Bayern in the lead again shortly before half-time (45th) with a penalty kick. Despite being outnumbered, Hoffenheim held on confidently at times and created chances, including a hit on the crossbar by Fisnik Asllani.

With the home win in front of 75,000 spectators in the sold-out Allianz Arena, the FC Bayern
extended its lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund to six points. Munich are already twelve points ahead of third-placed Hoffenheim.

1. FC Cologne – RB Leipzig 1:2 (0:1)

RB Leipzig won a close game against 1. FC Köln at the Rhein-Energie-Stadion in Cologne. The Austrian Christoph Baumgartner led his team to a 2-1 (0-1) victory with two goals. Most recently, Leipzig had only won two of five games.
