Note Found with Baby’s Body at Citayam Station: ‘Bury My Child’

Jakarta – The body of a baby girl was found in a bag inside a toilet at Citayam Station in Depok. A note believed to be from the baby’s parents was also discovered.

“During an inspection, a letter was found in the bag. We suspect it was written by the baby’s parents,” said Depok Metro Police Public Relations Head AKP made Budi when contacted by reporters on Friday, December 5, 2025.

The letter asks anyone who finds the baby to bury her properly. The parents also admitted they weren’t able to care for the child.
