Dynasty and Ocean Series Lead Volume Contributions
The core Dynasty and Ocean series remained the primary volume drivers for the automaker, accounting for a combined 394,945 vehicles sold during September. To complement these flagship lineups, BYD relies on specialized sub-brands to capture different segments of the market. FANGCHENGBAO contributed 43,181 vehicles to the monthly total, while DENZA recorded 18,198 units. YANGWANG added 389 units to the September tally.
Overseas Passenger Vehicle Sales Surge 153 Percent
International markets are emerging as a major growth engine for the manufacturer. Overseas sales of BYD passenger vehicles and pickup trucks reached 179,877 units in September, marking a 153.9% increase compared to the same month in the previous year. For the January through September period, cumulative overseas shipments reached 1,337,831 units.
